  • One day in September 2019 @valeriablasettiart sent me this picture (because I asked for it) and it took me 3 years to make a painting from it and over half a year to publish it. August is the month when this wonderful person was born, so I decided it would be the perfect time, even though I missed the exact birthday 😳⁠ ⁠ We met through an entirely different online community and one day found out we had much in common. One of those common passions was art. That's how both of us ended up here, going entirely different pathways, but staying in touch nevertheless. ⁠ ⁠ Dear Valeria, you'll always have a friend in me.⁠ ⁠ artist's collection - watercolor on paper, 56x38cm (1/2 sheet)
  • My apologies, I've been feeling demotivated to work on my social media presence, and it's playing tricks on my memory. I was certain I had shared this portrait of an adorable girl – an experimental piece. Can I paint kids and offer commissioned children's portraits? Surprisingly, it became one of my favorites. I'm tempted to take commissions, yet unsure if I can handle others' expectations.⁠ ⁠_______ Mein Gedächtnis spielt mir Streiche. Ich war absolut sicher, dieses Kinderporträt gepostet zu haben. Es war eine Art Experiment. Kann ich Kinder malen? Kann ich Auftragsarbeiten fĂźr Kinderporträts anbieten? Später wurde dieses Bild eins maeiner Favoriten. Ich bin so versucht, Aufträge anzunehmen, aber gleichzeitig bin ich unsicher, ob ich dem Druck der Erwartungen anderer gerecht werden kann.

  • I'm barely posting anything because I'm barely painting anything. My mental health is a priority right now. Yes, art helps me through that, but I'm in a situation where I let others put me under pressure. A wip of an already finished piece. I'll show you that some time later.
  • I rarely post pictures of myself, simply because I don't have any. But recently I had a reason to shoot some new ones. Our local lifestyle magazine @phonk_magazin interviewed me and I got a four-pager in their newest issue. The photo was shot in my studio. _________⁠ Ich poste selten Bilder von mir, einfach weil ich kaum welche habe. Aber letztens hatte ich den Anlass neue zu schießen. Unser lokales Magazin @phonk_magazin hat mir ganze 4 Seiten in der Ausgabe Juni/Juli gewidmet! Den schĂśnen Text von @sarlena_92 findet ihr auf Seite 42, das Magazin entsprechend Ăźber den Account von Phonk. Ein herzliches DankeschĂśn geht auch an @kreativzentrum_heilbronn. Da wurde auch das Bild geschossen.

In short: This is another picture from @eugeniko_art course for @artschool.nadja.leutloff with views of St.Petersburg. ••••••••••• Ich kann es nicht leiden, wenn meine tolle Überschrift einfach gelĂśscht wird. Ich werde da schnell ungeduldig, deshalb in Kurzform: Das Bild gehĂśrt zum Kurs von @eugeniko_art , in dem es um Stadtansichten geht. Gerade bei verschneiten Motiven geht es vorrangig darum das wichtigste herauszugreifen viel offen zu lassen.
